Syfy commissioned the first 10 one-hour episodes of The Expanse in 2014, still the most expensive show the channel has produced.

Jeremy Benning. Cinematographer: The Expanse. Jeremy has become known for his narrative and documentary series work over the last several years; with shows that have aired on Netflix, Amazon Prime, BBC, Discovery, National Geographic, History Channel and in festivals around the world.
Jeremy has been the photographic leader for the series since its debut in 2015. All six seasons are currently on Amazon Prime. In September 2020, he collaborated with director Manjari Makijany for the Disney + film “ Spin “. Jeremy also shot two episodes (103, 105) of the first season of the Amazon Prime series “ The Boys “.
