Oct 31, 2017 · Last year some friends and I made a list of Los Angeles artists who were overdue for local museum acknowledgment—project rooms, mid-career surveys, retrospectives, whatever—and had to quit when we reached 100.
Los Angeles based painter Jennifer Del Barrio has been experimenting with abstract painting for approximately 15 years. Following a long career in fashion modeling and commercial acting, she discovered the passion and freedom of creating art.

For the recent Pacific Standard Time Festival: Live Art LA/LA, Raul Baltazar staged Mi Sereno: Two Ritual Performances Honoring Our Past, Present, and Future Generations, a two-part performance meant to encourage intergenerational dialogue through its procession up and down Ascot Hills Park; it ended with a communal meal, which served as an offering to sacred spaces.
