I just read that he died after a medical condition had him sent to an induced coma, that later lead to his death. You shouldn't really describe his death incorrectly, or at all, he has a right to not discuss his medical conditions with anyone.
Born April 25th, 1974 in Arlington Heights, Illinois, Jeff learned the mandolin and joined The Bluegrassholes before co-founding the Yonder Mountain String Band. After, a leave of absence, he formed the Jeff Austin Band. Jeff left us in 2019. I saw something like 30 yonder shows with Jeff.
