Knife shown is likely pre-war (WW2) but they are not technically Case knives and therefore do not command the prices of true Case made knives, even those made at the Kinfolks factory.

May 13, 2007 · The Kinfolks book says that the Jean Case catalog consisted entirely of production blade overuns and seconds from the Case family companies. Blades were stamped with the Jean Case name - it was never really a manufacturer.
With over 160 hand operations, Case knives start with carefully shaped handles made from a wide range of genuine materials like Brazilian cattle bone, stag antler, buffalo horn, mother-of-pearl, exotic woods and stones.
