Our roots extend back to 1889, when four enterprising brothers—William Russell (W.R.), Jean, John, and Andrew Case (a.k.a. “The Case Brothers”)—began selling handcrafted knives from the back of a wagon in upstate New York.
W.R. Case & Sons Cutlery Company is an American manufacturer of traditional pocket knives, fixed blades/sporting knives, kitchen knives, limited edition commemoratives and collectibles. The company originated in Little Valley, New York, around the turn of the 20th century, before relocating to its current home, Bradford, Pennsylvania, in 1905.
Jean Case Cutlery. Founded by Jean Case. Little Valley, New York. 1930-1949. Famous for leading Case Brothers, Jean Case joined W.R. Case & Sons as a salesman afterward, later aiding his son Dean Case and nephews Russ Case and Tint Champlin in forming Kinfolks in Little Valley.
