Jamila Wenske was born 7 March 1975 in Bad Saarow and grew up in Berlin. After she had graduated 2005 at the German film school HFF "Konrad Wolf" in Babelsberg she studied in the German-French Atelier Network for European Producers at Filmakademie in Ludwigsburg and at La Femis in Paris.
