Iverson Park is one of Stevens Point's oldest and largest parks. In addition to the Green Circle Trail, which travels through the park, it offers a multitude of uses throughout the year. The park has a large playground, restrooms, picnic areas, beach, lodges, picnic shelters and a baseball diamond.

In winter, Iverson offers two 300-foot toboggan slides, three sledding hills, a snowboard hill, a lighted outdoor ice skating rink, a warming lodge, and 2.5 miles of groomed cross-country ski trails. Three of the four mile loop of the Downtown Greenway is now open from Spring Garden Street along Morehead Park to Bragg Street up to Martin Luther King Jr Drive.
