Ivan Sen was born in 1972 [1] in Nambour, Queensland, [2] the second child of Donella and Duro Sen. His mother Donella belongs to the Gamilaroi nation of northern New South Wales , and Duro was born in Croatia to a German father and Hungarian mother.
May 20, 2023 · Its story of a dead Indigenous girl, and the hunt for her killer, was inspired by Sen's aunt Theresa Binge, who was found beaten to death under a roadway in Boggabilla, near the NSW-Queensland border, in 2003. She was found by family members, not police.
