Jul 10, 2017 · Unlock the door with the key-click. Push the button, plunger would not engage. The problem turned out to be the first link from the plunger to the door catch. Turns out it is adjustable and wasn't giving enough clearance for the lock mechanism to unlock with the key. It has 3 holes.

Jan 27, 2008 · The S1 2+2 parts manual, J.38, shows the separate handle and lock and lists all the parts associated with them. The handles are BD.28117&8, the locking barrel assy’s are BD.28120&1, the lock assemblies are BD.28109&10, the remote control and link assemblies are BD.28119, and the striker plates are BD.28111&2.

Dec 16, 2016 · On my car, lifting the interior passenger door handle locks the mechanism which can then only be unlocked by using the key in the exterior push button. The door can be opened from the interior by pushing down on the interior handle, but cannot be opened from the exterior.
Jan 24, 2012 · I am seeking some advice from the S-type community: Recently the doors will not lock by using the remote. Leaving the car they do lock (by the remote), - but unlocks the next second. By itself! The same happens when starting the drive. Once I reach 5 mph or so, - the doors lock, - and unlock the next second.
