Jun 14, 2013 · The 09 compared to the FZ8 is much lighter and makes more stock HP and torque too. I came within 3 days of buying an FZ8 and then Yamaha announced that the all new FZ09 would be coming out. After reading about it, I cancelled my plans to get the FZ8 and patiently waited until the FZ09 was released.....and I have absolutely NO regrets.

Oct 18, 2011 · Best suited to calmly filtering through traffic and rewarding on swift open roads. Unfortunately the Fazer8’s suspension is not adjustable and if you start to push it through late breaking and fast direction changes its all-round ‘designed averageness’ starts to show through.
Jul 1, 2012 · So I upgraded from an XJ6 to an FZ8, and I have to say I love it. I'm not a power freak or anything, but it's nice to have a bit more grunt low down and the power band is nice n smooth just like on the XJ6 in my opinion.
I currently own a 2003 Suzuki Intruder 800. I'm 6'4" and I feel like I'm to big for my Suzuki. I'm thinking of getting the FZ8. I really like the upright seating position, which is why I like the FZ8 although I've never ridden one yet. What are your opinions on the bike?
