Yes, the movie is totally worth watching, especially if you like zombies. I'd say that the book informs the movie, but they are not directly related. The book is written as a history book based on interviews with multiple characters who lived through World War Z.
Yeah I think it's a fun watch. Has some cool scenes and the acting is actually very good. It's not a believable/grounded story but Its worth a watch with some popcorn and a few beers. Movies can just be fun, don't have to be perfect to be enjoyable. Everyone here should take heed of that
