The Multiverse (多次元宇宙(マルチバース), Maruchibāsu) is the setting in which all of the Ultraman Series shows and series take place in. The multiverse is comprised of a near-infinite number of separate universes, or Worlds (ワールド, Wārudo), with some having native Ultras of their own in some form.

The multiverse was first implied in Ultra Q and demonstrated in Ultraman Tiga, Ultraman Dyna, & Ultraman Gaia: The Decisive Battle in Hyperspace. The full extent of the multiverse was shown in Ultraman Zero The Movie: Super Deciding Fight! The Belial Galactic Empire. Since then it has been openly acknowledged and is a part of some plot points. In Ultra Galaxy Legend Gaiden: Ultraman Zero vs. Darklops Zero, an Alien Salome named Herodia and her henchmen attempted to gain access to the multiverse and conquer it with an army of Imit-Ultra Brothers (SR Team) and Darklops Zero. Kaiser Belial later launched two separate attacks on the Land of Light, from another universe. In Ultraman Saga, it was stated that the Ultramen had moved from not just protecting one universe, but parts of the multiverse. In Ultraman X, many Ultras from different universes visited X's universe either by accident or on purpose, but always with the same goal, to help defend it.

The Land of Light, with their superscience, has been making advancements into multiversal research, which has allowed them to interact with Ultras from parallel worlds, send their own warriors to fight in other worlds, and even summon Ultras from other universes.

•Naturally occurring or artificial wormholes: Some wormholes, such as the Stargate in Ultraman Orb THE ORIGIN SAGA or Gran-Sphere can be used to traverse the multiverse.

  5. Apr 3, 2019 · It's the monster that proves that the Ultra series and the Exorcist franchise exist in the same universe! While this Pazuzu has little in common with the demon that made Linda Blair shout profanities and vomit pea soup at people, his horned design and thick thighs make the bull-themed kaiju a formidable villain.

  7. Jul 2, 2024 · It’s heartwarming to see human beings learning to exist within the universe, alongside other creatures like Kaiju, instead of just trying to destroy them as a knee-jerk reaction. However, that doesn’t mean that there will never be a time when Ultraman must destroy a Kaiju in order to protect lives.
