  1. Tulane is the strongest law school in Louisiana and it has civil law course offerings too which is really cool. Tulane has pretty good lay prestige nationwide and especially in the South. A lot of Tulane grads work in Houston and quite a few work in NYC as well.

Because they have 6 or so SMPs/certificate programs through the medical school, I know they at least interview a lot of those candidates, and seem to favor a slightly older applicant pool (1 or more gap years).
