Admissions & Financial Aid. Through its admission process, Tulane looks for students who demonstrate the potential to succeed as law students and as lawyers, and who will contribute to our educational community and to the legal community at large.
We accept scores from any version of the LSAT offered by the Law School Admission Council (LSAC) so long as the score is reportable. Tulane Law will only consider your highest reported LSAT score even if you take the test multiple times.
Eligible students with permission from the appropriate undergraduate dean may apply to Tulane Law School during the junior year. If admitted, students enroll in the first year of law school. At the end of that year, the baccalaureate degree is conferred.
While the national admission rate to law school is 77%, Tulane students are admitted to law schools at a rate of 93% overall, and 95% for those earning a 162 or higher on the LSAT and a 3.5 or higher GPA as a Tulane undergraduate.
