Interest in an email supposedly from cryptocurrency wallet MetaMask also spiked in recent days, according to Google Trends data. The email, titled ‘Immediate Action Required: Suspension Alert', tells you that you need to ‘update your wallet’ to comply with ‘global regulations’.
Apr 4, 2023 · Re: Is this genuine BT email? I've just had a similar one, purportedly from btcomms@laylahillauthor.com. Again, not a BT domain, so clearly a scam. I've reported it to BT and Action Fraud. Seems there must be a current wave of these that BT's spam filters are failing to recognise and block. 0 Ratings.

If its seemingly from BT, forward as attachment to phishing@bt.com, if not report@phishing.gov.uk. Handling scam texts. If you can see the number, check whether it's genuine by searching online.

A screen kept telling me it was due to Malware,Spam and Phishing.Also today could not access my incoming mail. When i rang customer services a recording tells me they intend to give THE BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE. 10 seconds later a message says the wait time to speak to someone is 45 mins. Not good enough BT.
