To me, The Untamed is good because of its gradual character development for a fairly large cast, you come to love these kids and their families. The Special Edition just contains scenes of the main couple and is only good for if you want to see the relationship bits, which is such a small part of the overall show and its themes.

It's an incredible (and well-deserved) and very peaceful ending. HOWEVER. I have one fundamental issue with this ending, that I believe the ending in the drama tries its best to resolve: the society they currently live in is very, VERY flawed.
As for other recommendations, honestly I have no idea because I'm also still not over the Untamed (even after a year and a half 😅). I have seen a lot of people recommend Word of Honor but personally I haven't watched it yet so I can't comment on how good it is.
The Untamed. 2019. ★★★★★. Watched Mar 08, 2024. I want to erase my memories and watch this again for the first time I wish I could give this 100 stars… the untamed is a masterpiece I’ll always hold a special place in my heart & a huge part of my heart as well I have sm to say about it.
