'The sinner' season 1 was one of the best series in that genre, it grabbed my attention from the start. The story was unpredictable that it kept getting better by the second, as events start folding, and the 'Why' behind the action began to show up.

I've thoroughly enjoyed the show, but found certain things included for unknown reasons. The main one being Bill Pullman's relationship with his wife (Coach MacKay) and his fetish....I think they're trying so hard for this broken man archetype, it just seems forced.
