I absolutely loved Don’t Breathe (2016). Perfect use of sounds and video (like the black and white filter to replicate seeing in the dark). I was on edge during the whole movie, and there were several twists that I didn’t expect. The psychological horror of the characters desperately trying to keep quiet and escape the old man was intense.

Don't Breathe is directed by Fede Alvarez, who also co-wrote the screenplay with Rodo Sayagues. They obviously felt inspired by David Fincher's Panic Room (2002), and did come up with a great, suspenseful movie. The three burglars are played by Jane Levy, Dylan Minnette and Daniel Zovatto, who all do a great job.
