Most manga are serialized and therefore intended to be read in chapters with week/month long breaks, but a lot of people prefer reading them in one go, either is fine. On thing I'll say though: some manga binge better than others.
So the following are things I reread years later (at least 6 - 7) after having an extremely vague or no recollection from when I initially read them (Bleach, Vagabond, Vinland Saga, Eden it's an endless world [became my favorite manga of all time on the reread funny enough]).

First published in July 1997, this long-standing, epic manga series follows the adventures of Monkey D. Luffy, a boy who accidentally eats a Devil Fruit and gives his body the properties of rubber.
- Naruto (1999) Buy on Amazon. 💡 Status: Completed. Drawing from Chinese mythology and the history of ninja warriors of Japan, Naruto is the famous tale of one boy’s quest to become the heroic leader of his village.
- Vagabond (1998) Buy on Amazon. 💡 Status: Ongoing. Loosely based on the real life of a swordsman from the 1600s, Vagabond is a thrilling martial arts manga that’s been running since 1998 (but has been on a very extended hiatus since 2015).
- Fullmetal Alchemist (2001) Buy on Amazon. 💡 Status: Completed. In the steampunk world of Fullmetal Alchemist, alchemy is a respected science, and the only things that are not allowed to be transmuted are humans and gold.
Personally I watch the anime first and read the manga second. I quite like this as after watching the anime you can go read the manga and read scenes that might not have been in the anime. I do this as it makes me feel as if the manga has been given extra scenes instead if the anime losing scenes.

1. Kodomomuke – Manga for young children
The Japanese word kodomomuke literally translates into “intended for children.” This kind of manga is aimed at children who are not yet old enough for Shojo and Shonen manga.
