Here’s what I like most about The Hill House Inn; the food is good honest pub food, I have had some excellent steaks here over the years. The Summer Solstice Beer Festival is amazing with about one hundred different beers and ciders served in the garden, and live music.

   • Amazingly he remembered and greeted me a year after I had last been in. Tom is a great asset to The Hill House Inn. This pub is well worth a visiting for its unique qualities, but don’t leave it too long or it won’t be there.    What to eat at the Hill House Inn?

   • My partner and I stopped off at the Hill House Inn for lunch while we were on our beach walk to Happisburgh.Absolutely fantastic food! I had the Bacon, Brie, Walnut and Cranberry baguette and my partner had the Fish & Chips (specials board). Very generous portion sizes (we can both eat a lot!), which left us both fully satisfied.

   • Dogs welcome through out the year inside the bar area and beer garden, but we request no dogs in the dining room please. The Hill House Inn history; in 1905 the Sherlock Holmes author Sir Arthur Conan Doyle took a sabbatical at The Hill House where the idea for ‘The Adventure of the Dancing Men’ formed.

Yes, like other reviews , the pub is a bit tired but we enjoyed our 3 visits there while staying in Happisburgh and would most certainly visit again.
