  2. I especially loved how instead of having a “bad guy” who just loses it Jack Nicholson style, it chose to focus on the entire casts individual ways of coping/descending into madness. The movie felt like it knew you were just waiting for someone to snap, and played on that expectation beautifully.

  4. If you're in the mood for a horror film, and not goofy horror like The Nun, but horror intended to disgust and y'know, horrify, then I cannot recommend The Divide enough. This movie perfectly pulls of its purpose of inducing feelings of disgust, sympathy, and despair.

  5. The Divide: Directed by Xavier Gens. With Lauren German, Michael Biehn, Milo Ventimiglia, Courtney B. Vance. Survivors of a nuclear attack are grouped together for days in the basement of their apartment building, where fear and dwindling supplies wear away at their dynamic.
