The Rose is another nexus of reality separate from the Dark Tower. It exists in the Keystone World and can be found in New York City , on the corner of Second and Forty-Sixth in a vacant lot. It is dusky pink on the outside, fierce red on the inside and has a center as yellow as the sun.
It is definitely in all key worlds, though it does not take the same form. The two examples in the series are the Tower itself in Roland's Key world, and the Rose is Jake/Eddie/Susannah's Key world.

The field of roses is the manefistation and gift from Bessa (goddess of "khef", life force) to Gan (all mighty god) and serves as a shield to the Dark Tower (The Dark Tower is the manifestation of Gan) and one cannot exists without the other.
