  6. Mar 12, 2023 · The best: The introduction of Eddie Dean. Eddie Dean is introduced in the second Dark Tower novel, The Drawing of the Three, and in quite a colourful way. I love how he’s in the middle of smuggling cocaine into New York, and the ingenius way Roland uses the door to help him get through customs.

  7. Over thirty years in the writing, it is a vast, sprawling tale of one man's quest, some may say obsession, and the story is excellent, the characters that populate it amongst that special type that remain with the reader forever.
