Question. So in the movie it is revealed that the Eternals are merely robots/androids powered by limitless cosmic energy and created by Arishem the Judge. Now obviously in the 616 Comics universe, Thanos is an Eternal with a recessive Deviant gene that made him monstrous and purple.

Thanos' most storied attempt at subjugating the entire universe came with his pursuit of the Infinity Gems. In his search, he was turned to stone by the Avengers, Spider-Man, and Adam Warlock, but was revived by Death.
