No. Ever After is a sequel to the movie and the series, where they get married. The movie is set before the series and without it, major events like Eugene and Raps getting together, Gothel dying, Raps being locked up, Max joining them, Raps getting back to her parent, etc., wouldn´t have been shown to us.
