    Personally, I think Shock 2 is a bit better. Though that's mostly because it has a bigger reach. Most of the designers had never worked on a game, before. A few differences to note: Bioshock is a shooter. It follows many FPS tropes; very linear design and any upgrades are almost forced on the player. System Shock is an RPG Horror game.

    In my opinion, System Shock 2 is the best ever FPS/RPG game. It combines an excellent story with a really cool RPG system, and a solid FPS mechanic.
