Sunnyvale is also located in or near a flood plain, depending on where you are, so heavy rains could cause flooding.

Oct 19, 2021 · International visitors flying into the U.S. now need to show proof of vaccination before boarding and a negative coronavirus test taken within three days of their flight.
There are no current restrictions on air travel to California from within the United States. But as mentioned, CDC travel requirements are still in effect, which means all international air passengers to the U.S. are required to have a negative COVID-19 test result or documentation of recovery.
