You can watch the first episode for free on Youtube. Check it out and see how you feel by it. It's the only way to know for sure if you will or wont like it. That said, it's still new, and only 2 episodes have come out so far.
I cannot recommend it more. It really is that good. A couple of quibbles regarding canon, but honestly canon is super low priority if I get a good story, and that's what we've been getting in SNW. If I'm not mistaken, the entire first season is available for free worldwide on YouTube actually legal from Paramount.
