Movie Review. The movie plays out like a pretty early slasher imo. Of course, Joan Crawford absolutely demolishes everyone else this movie. The way her character slowly seems to unravel more and more until the absolutely bonkers ending was so good.

You never know where it’s headed – especially once it opens up beyond its rustic farmhouse settings – but the film remains a standout of the Castle catalog.
