   I know Stevenage quite well. The town itself is not as appealing and is a bit dull but is good for work in large organizations. Be warned, you will most likely be made redundant if you worked at GSK as a contractor or something like that.

   Stevenage is completely fine. Go for the old town, Great Ashby, Chells manor or Poplars. It's the most affordable place on your list there by some margin. The town centre is grim but lots of the newer housing areas are nice. (I lived in Stevenage from 2006-2020).
