Is Stanford really just appealing because it is a v. selective school in a great location? I attended several events hosted by the school but just can't get my head around why it is so coveted, especially for non-VC/PE SV-focused applicants.
I'm looking at UC as a college I may attend and was hoping to hear some pros and cons about the university. I'd like to hear about anything from housing to classes to clubs, anything really! For context, I would be an in state student starting in the fall semester of 2021.
