So I’ve now watched the movie, and both seasons of the show of snow piercer, and while right off the bat I’ll say I enjoyed the show version far better, I found both versions enjoyable. The show, though, simply has much more compelling and well rounded characters, a much more intricate and nuanced story, and more intrigue than the movie, imho.
Snowpiercer is an American post-apocalyptic dystopian thriller television series that premiered on May 17, 2020, on TNT. It is based on both the 2013 film of the same name, directed by Bong Joon-ho, and the 1982 French graphic novel Le Transperceneige by Jacques Lob, Benjamin Legrand and Jean-Marc Rochette, from which the film was adapted.
