Mar 2, 2021 · I updated Rome2Rio on an Eastern European bus line and they got back to me really quickly. Rome2Rio is one of the best sites for figuring out bus and train service. In this case I needed to go from Sofia Bulgaria to Serbia.
I've got a 3 month, 25+ city trip in Europe this summer. Never traveled before... I am trying to figure out if Eurail is worth it and would like recommendations on websites for booking inter-Europe travel. Rome2rio, trainline, omio, hopper, hostelworld.
Are the sites that rome2rio link to legit? There's a massive price difference between their recommendations and eurrail website prices. Eurail has a ticket from udapest to bratislava for £30 per person. Rome2rio finds sites selling the same ticket for £11. Seems like a massive difference.
Oct 10, 2019 · To begin with, Rome2Rio. It has an extensive database for locations in many places around the world. IMO, It's a good website to provide general information on getting from one place to another, but for specific and detailed information in Italy it's better to use the rail company websites.
I use rome2rio for options, but I tend to find their price estimates low. Instead, I use www.seat61.com and have found their prices for routes to be very accurate (I book last minute too so you may do better if you book ahead).
