Its 9 anthological short films made by 8 different animation teams centered around robots and their interaction with humans. The animation though maybe a bit dated is very creative and still holds up.
While simply a series of short films, Robot Carnival really is artisic creativity unbound. Each story in and of itself is an exploration into the various aspects of artifical life forms and various implications thereof.
