  6. 1. Reply. Share. BrewtalDoom. • 4 yr. ago. With 20-odd years of hindsight, I think I prefer The Phantom Menace more. I was very eager for the 'darker' Episode 3 and it definitely was that, but the film ended up being kind of a drag.

  7. May 17, 2024 · That is a massive increase for a sequel, especially after The Phantom Menace and Attack of the Clones suffered from much undue criticism from reviewers and fans alike. The question is, why was Revenge of the Sith so much more successful as a sequel and trilogy capper than Return of the Jedi and The Rise of Skywalker ?
