Jul 2019. Last year, Rampart Reservoir was down about 30 feet from full. This year, it's full to the brim. One of the landmarks, "The Thumb" is now an island, although just a foot from today's shoreline. Fishing has been very good, even from shore, with a few of the rarer species: lake trout and brown trout showing up.
