Puerto de la Cruz is a Canarian town with a considerable tourist presence. The tourists come from across Europe plus mainland Spain. The town has several beaches, absolutely loads of bars and restaurants, and has a lovely relaxed atmosphere. It is noticeably busier at the weekend when the locals come out.
