Sep 30, 2011 · Primer is a great sci-fi film, but one of the most confusing movies ever made. It takes the subject of time travel, and all the implications that follow, and lays them out in the most complicated, but accurate fashion possible.
Primer isn't about putting together a complex timeline puzzle. it's a story about 2 friends and how power turns them against each other and makes them paranoid. you don't need to follow every step of the time movements to follow the narrative thrust of the movie.
