The film, produced by Walt Disney Pictures, is a live-action remake of Walt Disney's 1940 animated film of the same name, which is itself based on the 1883 Italian book The Adventures of Pinocchio, by Carlo Collodi. The film stars Tom Hanks, Cynthia Erivo, Giuseppe Battiston and Luke Evans with Benjamin Evan Ainsworth, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, and Keegan-Michael Key in voice roles.
The film was released on September 8, 2022 on the Disney+ streaming service.
One I will recommend is Up in Japanese. Watched it once and was shocked at how accurate the spoken Japanese was to the English track. Still looking for it till this day. With Japan Amazon, you need a Japanese address. With Rakuten, I don't know of you do.
The series was originally adapted in English in 1984 as a compilation film titled The Adventures of Pinocchio, consisting of several episodes edited together to create a 90-minute movie. The film released on VHS by American Way, Inc. with a dub directed by Jim Terry .
