It's not so black and white, there are levels and differences between humans, so to simply say a guy is either a nice guy or not, is extremely narrow minded and arrogant. People can have elements of a Ted where they have genuine good intentions, mixed in with elements of a Nate.
Sep 3, 2021 · How does it feel to play Nate? Is it more liberating as an actor to play him meek, as the Nate who gets beat up and called names? Or is it more fun to be the bad guy?
I googled an analysis of Nate because I wanted to see if others thought he was a potential abuser, too. The actor is one of the most attractive men I've ever seen, but the character made my skin crawl and my gut react, and I think they purposefully directed him that way.
