Apr 15, 2021 · It's your choice if you wanna watch it, but for me I'll recommend it. Even though it's filled with fanservice and ecchi, what I really liked about the Monogatari series is how the characters are written and how the protagonist interacts with his harem, but that's for me.
The series is one of my favorite stories of all time, in any kind of media. The first season (Bakemonogatari) is smart urban fantasy story with a surreal art style. You are left with lots of questions that later seasons will address. The story has one of the best developed romances in anime.

But for us, we are going with the most popular choice on the table which is placing it here second on the Monogatari watch order - narratively we feel it is here that it fits best.
