Apr 15, 2021 · Might pick the series up again at a later time. It has a good premise and a strong cast of characters, so if you don't mind dialogue-heavy shows it's at least worth giving it a shot. P.S. Katanagatari is from the same author and is one of my favorite shows ever. Highly recommended.
Heavy dialogue with a cast of multi layered characters, all with intriguing backstories & problems. Combined with great visuals, OST & voice cast, overall it's a great show. Though admittedly not for everyone.
Best ones are hard asf, there're like several peak arcs in there. But going in order: Neko White, Kabuki, Otori, Oni, Koi (almost the entirety of second season), Tsuki, Sodachi Riddle, Shinobu Mail, Ougi Dark, and Zoku. So out of 25 arcs, 10 of them are peak. Kind of a cop out, but it's just that good.

While the entire Monogatari franchise is binded by the same overarching stories, all of these seasons fall under different names other than Monogatari, like Nisemonogatari and Kizumonogatari.
