In addition to the shielding present in the B variant, Mark V was the first MJOLNIR iteration to have AI integration. GEN1 Mark V took some inspiration from Mark IV armor, and has backwards compatibility with Mark V [B], being present in helmet and shoulder options in Reach. (See edit below for correction.)
