Mallrats is a really good movie. I don't agree with some Smith superfans who say that it's his best movie, but I do agree that it's very good, especially since this was back before Chasing Amy when Hollywood hadn't recognized Smith as a good director yet.

Mallrats was a very relatable movie. We always had a lot of fun but I got busy with life and haven’t talked to either of them since back then. I wish them both the best. I still live where Chasing Amy was filmed. It’s a great movie but it’s also fun to see what’s changed since it was filmed.
