Imo, Love Nikki is the best-looking 2D dress up game atm. (If anyone knows others that are close enough in quality... please do recommend XD) No harm trying it out especially if you are more into 2D than 3D.
But Love Nikki’s gameplay mechanics are more user friendly. And I’m SN, everything single mechanic requires stamina. Compare that to Love Nikki, where the only element that cost stamina is the main quests. Love Nikki’s art style and customization options are overall better.
