Little Indian, Big City, originally titled Un indien dans la ville ("An Indian in the City"), is a 1994 French comedy directed by Hervé Palud, starring Thierry Lhermitte, Patrick Timsit, Ludwig Briand, Miou-Miou, Arielle Dombasle, and Sonia Vollereaux.
Little Indian, Big City is one of those comedies that's almost never funny. The single amusing sequence takes place inside a carnival haunted house, where Mimi-Siku mistakes costumed workers for real threats. It's worth about two chuckles. Other than that, however, the humor is consistently lame.

Dec 20, 1994 · Overview. Stephen, an international trader, tracks down his ex-wife Patricia in some Amazonian backwater. He needs her consent to a divorce so that he can marry Charlotte. Unfortunately, he discovers a son he didn’t know he had – Mimi-Siku.
The Russian bad-guys and some of the treatment of animals (birds!) make the movie a little heavy for young kids, but overall the film is far more effective than the Disney remake, where the boy is too old and the adults don't really make much sense, even for a comedy. 14 out of 18 found this helpful.
