Got us approved in 20 min, sales guy was great, spent a few hours making sure we were good with the home. We signed and put down our deposit. It’s a beautiful brand new community with great amenities, we got an oversized cul-de-sac lot with no back neighbors.
Buyer beware. Virtually no quality control on Lennar's part. Myriad issues with my home. Required to stay home for 4-hour window for each vendor to arrive and fix issues; they often were late or didn't show up at all. It took a year to complete the list of required repairs.

Well as the title says why am I getting a lennar home and having it built? I’ve read a lot of bad reviews and the quality of workmanship I can tell is already of low quality. We have not closed in the house yet, but this will be my first home. It is 500k and everything else I see in that price range right now I can’t stand.
