Personal motorized mobility devices are welcome on park grounds. The Kentucky Horse Park offers a very limited number of mobility devices for guest use on a first-come, first-served basis. To keep the park a safe place for all to enjoy, bikes and golf carts are not allowed in the tourist attraction area.
Oct 12, 2017 · Review of Kentucky Horse Park. Reviewed October 12, 2017 via mobile. This park was absolutely beautiful and perfectly wheelchair accessible. All of the barns and outbuildings, museums, gift shops and trails in between were very easy in a wheelchair. The outdoor beauty was stunning and the horse shows were absolutely wonderful.

We strive to make the park fully accessible for everyone. We have a wheelchair available for our guests at the Visitors Center. We also have 2 motor scooters available - first come first served.
The Kentucky Horse Park is handicap accessible. They have handicap parking near the front entrance and from there to the Visitor's Center the sidewalks have ramps. There are no steps inside the Visitor's Center either.
Lexington. Kentucky Horse Park: Explore exhibits on horse history, enjoy horse shows, and visit the International Museum of the Horse. Features accessible paths and restrooms. Some areas may have uneven terrain. Ashland, The Henry Clay Estate: Tour the historic home of statesman Henry Clay and explore beautiful gardens.
Kentucky Horse Park offers tours and has an adjacent campground (which is where we stayed). The horse park has about 115 horses representing at least 3 different breeds. While visiting, you will have the opportunity to tour the grounds/museums, interact with the horses and watch demonstrations.
