In my opinion, Kenric may have quit the Neverseen because of Oralie, and maybe Gethen was his replacement. Gethen was recruited for his washing skills(he’s been with the Neverseen for at least 11 years), but Kenric was a very strong washer as well, and found out about Sophie before that. But I still think he’s dead.
