Jul 9, 2024 · The obvious Lovecraftian nature of the game should have at least indicated to you that a traditional, cookie-cutter narrative structure likely wouldn't apply here. Also, the game does have an ending, you're just upset because your hand isn't being held while the 'reality' of the story is made known. How about doing what everyone else does ...
Kaz primarily concerns himself with the welfare of his soldiers and the advancement of DD. He places that priority over Big Boss and when asked to choose sides, he knowingly chooses to turn his back to BB. So in the full spectrum view of the story, Kaz could also be argued to not be a hero at all.
Right everyone knows Big Boss prefers the real thing. And of all people, Kaz, his supposed best friend should know better. Where was it stated that Venom was older? I always thought he was younger or relatively the same age. On the aspect of MGSV as VR, it seems like player is an individual VR. Not just one person in the canon experiencing it.

Kaz may be my favorite character in any video game. (Spoilers) MGSV Spoilers. His lines are so poetic, yet they're so serious that they're humorous at times. He's dramatic to the point of being a caricature, and yet something about him is truly gripping.
